Bembeya African Dance Club

On Saturday June 30 Marrickville’s Red Rattler theatre will become the Bembeya African Dance Club.

Bembeya Music is a not-for-profit cultural organisation devoted to the advancement of African music in Sydney. Bembeya returns to the Rattler to present a night of live music and videos from its African music library.

Dance to reggae maestros The Majestics,  guitar-driven Afropop from Paul Mbenna and the Okapi Guitar Band, and township jive from the Chris Gudu Band.
